FAQs

When is the RSVP deadline?

Our RSVP deadline was 1 March 2025 and has now passed. If we didn't hear from you by then, we have marked you as “not attending” and unfortunately won't be able to accommodate further guests. If your RSVP changes, please update us as soon as you can by emailing olhosker@gmail.com or texting +44 7872 605 617.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Please see the "Getting there" page of our website for full details. The ceremony will take place at Temple Church with a reception to follow afterwards at Middle Temple. Middle Temple is a very short walk across from Temple Church and guests will be directed to the reception after the church service. We have the whole of Middle Temple to ourselves and all of the day's events after the ceremony will be based there. There is a large cloakroom in Middle Temple where you can store any belongings.

What time should I arrive? When does the wedding end?

The ceremony will begin in Temple Church at 2pm sharp. Doors will open from 1:30pm and we ask that all guests take their seats by 1:50pm at the latest. We regretfully won't be able to accommodate any latecomers in the church and that will be very sad for all of us, so please arrive in good time as once the ceremony starts the doors will be closed. Our reception will end at midnight and we'll need to leave the venue then, but the bars and clubs of central London will welcome anyone who wishes to carry on partying with open arms (Tristan may or may not lead a charge into one).

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code is formal and men should wear morning suits. The bridal party will be wearing blue and white, so unless you'd like to be assigned a task to complete you may wish to avoid these colours. Please wear shoes suitable for grass and tearing up the dancefloor (or bring a spare pair and leave them in the cloakroom).

Will we be outdoors? What will the weather be like?

If the weather holds up, which is never a guarantee for England in July, we'll be outdoors (and on grass) for parts of the day. The gardens will be open all day and evening to go outside, but dinner and dancing will be indoors. There is a large cloakroom at the venue if you'd like to bring a change of shoes, a just-in-case umbrella or extra layers.

Can I bring a guest?

Your RSVP will specify those included on your invitation and whether a guest is invited. If you have any questions, please reach out. Hopefully this is obvious, but you can't bring your pets.

Can children attend?

Unfortunately, our wedding is an over 18s only event. So unless your little one has an exceptionally good fake ID, and comes prepared with its star sign and home postcode memorised, we appreciate you making childcare arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.

Can I take photos?

Phones must be put away or turned off during the church service and no personal photography is permitted at Temple Church. There are no limits on photos, videos, BeReals, Instagram live streams, etc. outside the church or throughout the day following the church service and we'd love to see your photos!

I have more questions - who do I speak to?

Please contact Olivia or Tristan with any questions.
