Access routes to Temple Church are limited at weekends.
Both pedestrians and vehicles can enter via the Tudor Street Gate, which is open all day.
Some (mostly) friendly ushers will be stationed along the gate and entrances until 13:45 to help you find your way.
The closest station to the Tudor Street Gate is Blackfriars which is on the Circle and District lines as well as national rail.
Other nearby stations include Temple (Circle and District lines), Chancery Lane (Central line) and Holborn (Central and Piccadilly lines).
Middle Temple is a two minute walk from Temple Church. At most four minutes if you've worn your best stilettos. Guests will be shown across to Middle Temple after the ceremony. If you're not sure where to go, follow the crowd!
Our wedding at Middle Temple will end at midnight - at which point you don't need to go home, but you can’t stay there. We're looking to avoid the gardeners finding any stray party guests in the grounds the morning after. However, not going home is, in fact, strongly encouraged, and bars nearby will be open for those who'd like to carry on into the night. The usual transport options will be available to escort you safely to wherever your next destination is (cabs, ubers, buses, the tube, Lime bikes, light up rickshaws).
